Bill 17th November 2020

Ian was the embodiment of gentleness. In 25yrs of knowing him, I cannot recall a time when he wasn't smiling, even when times were hard. Always sanguine. Always positive. Always supportive... In this warped world, it's incomprehensible that someone so thoroughly decent should be taken away so prematurely. My heart goes out to Amanda and their boys in this darkest hour. It will be small consolation, but I hope they take some solace in knowing how much Ian was loved by those of us who knew him. He was the man I aspired to be. He was a true gentleman, and he will be sorely missed.
