Such sad news, and condolences to Ian`s family. I took over from Ian as Inspector for Richmondshire, when he was promoted to Chief Inspector. A true gentleman, who was willing to share his vast knowledge and experience to help me settle in. For this I will be forever grateful to Ian. He even left me his Insp pips, which I am still proudly wearing today. Ian you will be truly missed by all in Richmondshire, both from within the Policing family, partners and the community.
