Ian was the nicest guy you could ever hope to meet. He was a great cop, fantastic with the public and a genuine, caring boss, never phased by anything. He gave up an entire day of his life to help me move house with a transit van for nothing more than a bag of fish and chips.

I am stunned that he has gone.
